Trocchio Training is committed to the ultimate educational experience for strength and conditioning, mental performance training and assessment of human movement.

Our primary goal is providing you an evidence based approach for training and performance to minimize the risk of injury, improve performance and enhance quality of life.

Establishing effective training philosophies that incorporate mental performance, human movement and concepts in strength and conditioning. Ultimately, promoting training for longevity and a competitive advantage for the sport of life.

Our philosophy

Our programming is designed to improve your individual physical and mental capabilities. The process is initiated with a movement, strength and mobility assessment and/or mental skills assessment. Upon the results of the assessment and your goals, we can create  an individualized training program to address our findings that meet your specific needs.

Quality of movement is the foundation of our training. Poor movement leads to poor technique which can limit your overall ability.  Prioritizing movement does not mean we do not value strength. However, if you continue to load a faulty movement pattern with weight, the end result can be injury, loss of functional mobility and inability to achieve your goals.

The mind and body are interconnected. How you think impacts your body and how you body feels impacts the way you think. Therefore, we take a holistic approach to our work.

We train with the long term in mind by not rushing  individuals or athletes through levels of training they are not physically or mentally prepared to perform. We aim to improve long term athletic development, functional mobility and mental performance to produce optimal athleticism and optimal quality of life.

About us

Dr. Steve Trocchio

My goal is to assist you in achieving your personal fitness, athletic and functional goals. I invest in my clients and there is nothing more satisfying than helping you navigate through your fitness journey.

I approach strength and performance training differently due to my over 20 years of clinical practice as a physical therapist and being a former collegiate athlete. Are you experiencing joint aches and pains? Want to improve your quality of movement to be a better athlete, avoid injury or being able to bend over and lift your children (grandchildren)? I have been in your position dealing with my own history of sports injuries, recovering from orthopedic surgeries and experiencing the occasional joint aches and pains.

Through my years of clinical practice and teaching strength and conditioning at the University of Texas-Permian Basin, I practice what I teach that strength in the foundation of movement and efficient movement is a skill that must be practiced. Come train with us and compete in the sport of life.

Dr. Robyn Trocchio

My goal is to assist you in improving your health, fitness, and performance mentally. How much of your health, fitness, and performance activities are mental? Now, how much do you train mentally? This is where I can help as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC®)!

Collaboration is the key to your success. Maybe you are feeling nervous in practice/competition or you lost your confidence due to an injury. Are you struggling to adhere to an exercise program? By working together, we will develop a personalized mental skills training program to achieve your goals.

I utilize a scientist-practitioner approach by integrating my background as an educator and researcher at Texas Christian University as well as through my experiences as an applied practitioner. Come train your mind with Trocchio Training and optimize your health, fitness, and performance journey!
